Motown Tress Virgin Indian Remy Wig - HIR-INDY (F1B/30 OFF BLACK/LIGHT AUBURN) Review

I bought this wig in Color 1 (Jet Black), and it arrived very quickly, a day before the estimate.

The Good:
* Nice Texture (It looks like healthy relaxed hair, not damaged or brittle. The hair strands are also of a realistic diameter for hair that has been relaxed and not just virgin straight or curly.)

* Great Body (It's lightweight and moves like hair should.)

* Natural-Looking Sheen (It's not shiny or dull)

* Small Part with Visible Scalp at Crown (This is a personal preference, but I think invisible parts scream fake hair. Under what circumstance is hair parted and scalp does not show? The fact that this item did not show a pic of the part was almost a deal breaker when I was deciding whether to order it.)

The Bad:
* Length: This wig is shorter than 16221;. Not one track of this wig is 16 inches R11; not the crown, perimeters, or anything in between. The tracks at the crown are 10-1/2 inches and the tracks at the nape are 10 inches. Overall, the appearance balances out to what looks like 12”

* Cut: It is not as it appears in the photo. Aside from the bangs, the photo appears to show a one-length bob with some longer layers at the back. This wig has layering throughout with significantly shorter sides graduating into a longer (and I use that term loosely) back. I'm not altogether certain it could be considered a bob or page look.

I gave this wig 3 stars because I like the hair. I have had it less than a week and have not shampooed it yet, but the cuticles all appear to be going in the same direction so I don't expect tangling. I would not order it again because I was very disapointed that it is not the style I selected. The only reason I did not return it is because I trimmed the bangs to fit my face. Perhaps I would order the brand again, but I would need for the wig I select based on the photos and description to be the wig that arrives.
