So far, So bad -

The scooter I ordered arrived after waiting 7 days. The packaging was open for the box except for one small piece of tape. Several ties downs were already cut open and the item appeared as if it was tried out and returned? The steering mechanism does not work at all, so as of now it is useless. I thought I was ordering through Amazon, and will call them shortly, as I must await "approval" to return it from the seller who is closed. I can't call and get help over the weekend, and worse, I think the scooter was defective and sent out that way despite being possibly returned by someone else (had all the common sense signs). I will keep everyone posted, and must admit I had high hopes for using the scooter after my foot procedure/surgery. It looks like as of today, I have a week wasted so far, and it looks like I still will need to order something else. Possibly I should go to a physical store, as with this product you are not really ordering from Amazon, so don't think you are (they have always been good about returns). With this one I am not sure that Amazon will help? I am either going to get some mysterious directions that were not contained in the one's provided in the box, or return it. The directions are so poorly written that they do not give you a single step by step diagram. They just give you a picture of the scooter finished. They provide poorly written directions referring to pins that they were unwilling or unable to put into a picture and label in a diagram. Without steering, this product is useless. I will now have to wait until Monday, as today is Friday night, to contact the company (Note - they don't appear to be open to help any customers on weekends). I will see how it goes and share the results.
