The seat construction is comfortable and the hip height is perfect for my mother. However, I am disappointed with the quality of the wood (stained pine), especially considering the price I paid for it. Some of the screws will not tighten and the joints are a little shaky. Some immediately came unglued upon assembly. Also, it would be great if the back was a tad higher. Lastly, the seat color is uneventful. Color choices would be a good option as the dusty blue looks a little institutional. The only reason I did not return the chair was the look on my mother's face when I hinted at the suggestion.
