I have been using this product for over 3 years and it has really helped me focus. I know that it is working because when I run out of it or forget it when I travel, I become dicombobulated and air-headed. I study Spanish every day and am pretty fluent in it. When studying a foreign language, it is imperative to remember vocabulary, grammar, and structure. I feel organized in thoughts and I attribute part of it to the effectiveness of this product.To me, the proof is in the pudding when I lack memory if I don't take it each day. The directions say to take three a day, but most of the time, I just take two and it still works really well--maybe because I have been taking it so long. If a person is just starting, then taking the recommended dose is probably better. I talked to my naturopath about Brain Lightning, and she said that the ingredients are good--good brain food. It has worked for me !

I ordered PharmaNac after using GNC's NAC brand for several months to reduce my son's seizures. While the GNC brand capsules lost their efficacy and seizures returned near the end of a bottle, we are having great success with the PharmaNac! The only reason I gave it 4 stars out of 5 is because it contains Splenda, which is a sweetener most people this conscious about their health and diet try to avoid, us included. I purchased the GHD IV Pure Styler in Dec. 2009 from Amazon directly not a second party seller. I tried to register this on the official GHD website. The date code was not recognized - a sign that this may be counterfeit. I contacted Amazon through an email and received a very quick response. They immediately sent another styler and a label for the return of the first GHD styler. I received the replacement GHD IV Pure Styler in 2 days with high hopes. Unfortunately, the date code for the replacement was not recognized either. I had emailed GHD in both instances and had not heard back from them. After 3 phone messages and multiple attempts, I finally got a hold of a customer service representative from GHD. I was told that Amazon.com USA is NOT an authorized seller of GHD products and could NOT be registered. With the high level of counterfeits, GHD cannot authenticate the styler at this time. If you do not buy from an authorized seller/retailer GHD will assume that the GHD styler you purchased is a counterfeit and will NOT register the styler or honor the warranty. Only Amazon.com UK is an authorized seller. Confusing, I know. There are other authorized online retailers. A complete list can be heard by calling the customer service number.

I just got off the phone with an Amazon.com representative. They were very apologetic and unaware of this issue. I was sent another email with a authorized return and shipping label. I wanted Amazon to be aware of GHD's policy and the fact that the GHD products they are selling are being treated as counterfeits by GHD.

So I guess the bottom line is buyer beware. I hope this helps someone else. I read all of the reviews and was wrongly assured that Amazon.com was an authorized retailer.
