With the Blood Pressure Monitor, your blood pressure is automatically sent to your health-monitoring device. If the health monitoring device is not working or is not within range of the blood pressure monitor, your blood pressure data is stored in the monitor's memory (up to 40 sets). The monitor works as a stand-alone device to provide local readings and it broadcasts readings via Bluetooth. However, it requires a receiving application if you wish transmitted data to be graphed and stored. Note: This monitor doesn't come with a cuff. Now I can easily collect blood pressure readings and statistics on my Android phone. Currently I use the 'myFitnessCompanion' Android app to automatically record the data on my phone; this app also exports the data to Excel, which lets me display the data with a time-series scatter diagram.

Unfortunately, initially I had trouble getting the Bluetooth pairing code to connect the UA-767PBT A&D Bluetooth Blood Pressure to my phone. Although it is sold as a Bluetooth product, the documentation delivered did not mention Bluetooth or the Bluetooth Pairing Code. Making matters worse, the A&D product support line refused to quote me the Bluetooth pairing code, explaining that I am not a health professional and saying that this is a telemedicine product. Eventually, I got the Bluetooth pairing code myself using the 'BP Log' Android app.
