Great wheelchair it fits all of my needs perfectly!! After going from a transport chair to this one it's like wow what a difference! I've suffered with eustation tube dysfunction (i.e., "clogged ears") for at least 20 of my 30 years on this earth. I thought for the longest time that this was just something I'd have to live with. That it's hand I was dealt. It wasn't really something I gave much though, honestly. Until one night, in a bout of insomnia, I was randomly searching Google on my iPad. Somehow, I ended up reading about eustation tube dysfunction, and as luck would have it, I happened upon the EarPopper. An hour later, I had read all the clinical trials available on the EarPopper website, and was ready to make my purchase on Amazon.

Admittedly, I was still a bit skeptical. And who wouldn't be, given the relatively high cost of what I figured amounted to a air pump. But anyway, I figured being able to hear again was worth the gamble, so I went ahead and ordered.

The day EarPopper arrived, I ripped it out of its packaging and had to try it immediately. I followed the directions, and my left ear...that had been "clogged" for years, *popped*. Yes, it was a slightly uncomfortable sensation, but for someone who had heard or felt nothing out of this ear in years, it was glorious. I knew right then and there that there was something to this EarPopper product.

Now, don't expect this to be a miracle cure, or one with instant results. I've been using the EarPopper for a bit over a month now, and I've seen a steady improvement in my hearing in both ears (especially my "bad" left ear - to the point that I can actually hear people talking to me on my left side now). The point is that it is a slow, gradual improvement - not something that will necessarily happen overnight. For someone who has had a "clogged" ear for most of their life, even the "popping" provided by the EarPopper is a sign of encouragement.

Unfortunately, I've been battling a bad cold / upper respiratory infection the last few days, so I've had to lay off the EarPopper. I've noticed some regression in my hearing due to the lack of use. I'm finally about over this sickness, and am looking forward to starting my EarPopper use again.

For the record, I did visit (at great expense) an ENT on numerous occasions and had multiple tests done. The final diagnosis was that there was fluid in my ears, and the only treatment that was offered to me was an ear-tube. Even the ENT said the ear-tube was a temporary fix, and might only work for as little as 6 months. So, this was simply an option I never chose to pursue. After finding out about the EarPopper, I'm glad I waited, since it appears I may be able to achieve the same results at a fraction of the cost.

As for the quality of the product itself, I have no complaints. The supplied carrying case is a nice touch, as is the inclusion of the required batteries with the packaging. The longevity of the product is still to be determined, and I suppose only time will tell, but I see no reason to think this won't last for years to come.

If you're suffering from eustation tube dysfunction or clogged ears, then I'd say this is worth your time to investigate. I generally despise homeopathic remedies and most anything with dubious claims. But there is some (limited) clinical research backing this product. For me, this product has worked well. Hopefully others suffering with hearing loss will have the same experience.

Magneciser Arm / Leg Pedal Exerciser Review

I was looking for a quality pedal exerciser that was made in the USA, to replace the cheap foreign imported one that I got for Christmas (which had been used for over 2 months until it was breaking down). When I phoned a representative of the manufacturer of this item (Chattanooga/ Cando), he informed me that although they had no current pedal exercisers made in the United States, that this discontinued model was made in the USA. I bought it new from this seller, and it arrived in good condition, but the box and the machine both say "Made in Taiwan". Maybe some of the earlier units were made here, but then they switched it to overseas? Anyways, it works very nice: very smooth pedaling, quiet, and very stable, even on a carpeted surface. Just wanted to let you know that if you're like me and you try to buy domestically made products, before you buy this, you might want to ask if the unit's box is labeled "Made in the USA" or "Made in Taiwan". There were other Amazon sellers that were selling this same exerciser for a higher price when I bought this one, and now I'm thinking that maybe the country of manufacture is why.
Bottom line: It is much nicer than the cheap ones that just have a resistance knob that merely forces a bolt into the center axle (eventually destroying it). This one has a resistance knob that increases or decreases the resistance by using a magnet which doesn't touch the axle but merely gets closer to it or farther from it, which adjusts the difficulty. Much simpler and easier, and (I hope) longer-lasting.

EZ Access 8 foot Tri - Fold Ramp Review

After trying many different portable ramps to load my Jazzy 614 power chair EASILE into my 2006 Honda Odessay Van, I came upon the EZ Access Tri-Fold ramp. The quality is way beyond expectation's. I'm a stought 400#, and the power chair is 185#, yet the EZ Access Tri-Fold handles us easily. The ramp is an 8 ft. Rated to 800# and I believe that it will certainly handle that load. The fact that it is a Tri-Fold is what I wanted, as I drop the back back seats down into their hidden storage and then the floor is flat. The rear seats & front seats can still be used for people after the power chair is loaded in & the ramp is folded up and slid in next to the power chair. I then ride in the solid back seat myself or drive the vehicle.
The ramps can easily be taken apart and carried by my Wife separately, as each folded set weighs about 25# each. Or they can be Tri-Folded and a man can carry all parts together weighing about 50# total. The built in handles make carrying the ramp a snap. Everything is aluminum so nothing to rust....EVER!! This ramp is NO CHEEP CRAP! Impressive quality in my book. With the eight foot length the incline Angle is only 14 Degrees off theVan. I really appreciate the raised edges too. No worry of falling off the ramp. I also like the non-slip treads on the surface which is a real plus if you ever tried a ramp without them!
I can easily use the Tri-Fold away from the van as well. I can easily use the ramp to get the the power chair up the four steps into the house for those HARSH Michigan Winters. Yes, this is a quality piece of equipment for sure. I LOVE it !!
