My wife uses a walker for short distances. The Drive transport chair is perfect for those times when longer distances are required. When it arrived I thought it would take a lot of time and frustration in assembly with skinned knuckles and bad words. To my delight I was wrong. It slid out of the box almost fully assembled. All I had to do was attach the lower foot holders. Two features that I really like are the hand brakes and the push bar. I had an instance coming out of a hospital with the hospital's loaner wheelchair. The path to our car had a downgrade. The wheelchair kept gaining speed. As I tried to pull it back to slow it down both rubber handgrips slid off. There I stood holding the handgrips with my wife rolling off into the sunset. Due to my lightning speed I was able to stop her in time before she t-boned the car. I knew right then that handbrakes are absolutely necessary. The push bar does come in handy especially when trying to get through narrow spaces as it saves your hands from getting squashed. The chair folds up easily and fits in the trunk. There is a pouch and water bottle holder on the back that is handy. So far it seems that it is sturdy enough and will hold up well. Would I buy this model again? Absolutely yes.Drive Medical Bariatric Transport Chair with 12 Inches Rear Flat Free Wheels, Red, 22 Inches
