Before I purchased this brush I was very skeptical as to whether this brush was the miracle product people said it was and i hesitated because of the price. However, this brush is truly amazing for many reasons- I have spent years, and tons of money, buying one product after another for my- oily on the top, dry at the bottom, frizzy on the sides, fine, straight-ish/wavy hair hair. I have bought it all - high end to low end - salon products, Moroccan oil, Argan oil, Perfect 10, serums, masks, conditioners, leave-ins, treatments, EVERYTHING and finally at 43 years old when my hair is at my worst (due to a thyroid condtion) I have finally eliminated the type of hair I described to you. The brush takes the natural oils from your scalp and distributes that natural oil along the entire hair shaft down to the very end of your hair. The result being smooth soft healthy feeling hair - you get the smooth softness like you've used a hair oil and a got your hair blown out at a salon. I can not believe it. I have not have not used the Moroccan oils, frizz products, etc, since, and I don't need them because the brush uses your own hair oils to do the same job only better- i have never had these results with any product. The investment of the brush is hard to swallow but since you will not have to buy the anti frizz, anti dry, anti anything anymore, you will eventually save money. Also saving money because it is the last hairbrush you will buy. It actually saves you from over using flat irons and blow dryers too because it smothes your hair out as you brush. You can actually shape your hair with it too as you brush. The more you brush the smoother it gets and the softer shapelier it gets. Also, It feels really nice to brush your hair with this especially at night before you go to bed- it's like a nice scalp massage. I highly recommend. Another amazing bonus- my daughter used to HATE getting her brushed (been thru about 4 brushes) because it always hurt her with all the knots she had. This brush gently gets through her hair no matter how bad the matting and knots that she has. I took it to work one morning and she wouldn't let my husband brush her hair with her old brush because she wanted the- "soft-y brush." If you struggle with this with your child you will understand- and that alone has made it worth the money.
