I've worked at an optometry office for 5+ years so I know how expensive frames can be. These retail for over double the price in most chain stores. The price I bought them for here was LESS than what my discount or insurance would have offered! I was definitely suspicious about the legitimacy and ease of getting genuine Ray-Bans from Amazon, but after being reassured that they buy their inventory directly from Luxottica and to see that it was fulfilled by Amazon, my skepticism was quelled. I'm a prime member, so it shipped super fast. I received the case and cloth and everything looks gravy! However, I am taking a star off because I noticed very very (and I mean VERY) fine scratches on the arms of my frame. It's definitely not noticeable unless you're scrutinizing it under proper lighting. I'm very meticulous and expect my purchases in pristine condition if purchased new. But given the fact that I'll probably wear these out in no time, it doesn't bother me much.

About the frame:

I love them. I have a square/round face and olive skin. It suites me well because the lens shape isn't too big or small. I chose the Havana/green color which is a very subtle tortoise coloring. I like that it doesn't look too dramatic like the black frames did, yet it still stands out since it is a darker shade of brown. I would recommend you check out frames in store to make sure they compliment your face. Just note down the frame/model number and then look for them online. I haven't even had the prescription lenses put in yet, but I can't take them off! They're definitely a nice classic set of frames.
